I have been wearing my hair in what is called a "bald fade". I remember when I 1st asked by barber at the time to cut it all - he wouldn't do at 1st. He was scared of some repercussion from my husband. Anyway now my hair is cut so short that in cannot be picked up between 2 fingers and I love it. Be prepared to have men comment on it (for whatever reason they seem to love it!) As far as looking like a man, my barber says there is absolutely no way I can be mistaken for a man :) I know how you felt in cutting your hair.
